KEN CILLS

Principal, Creative Director

Ken has over 20 years of advertising experience, working on some of the world’s most famous brands. A Philadelphia-area native, he was a creative director at BBDO and McCann Erickson on FedEx, Doritos, Texaco and Lowe’s Hardware stores. His “Philly’s more fun when you sleep over” campaign is considered one of the most successful city tourism campaigns in the industry. He also has a commercial in the permanent collection of the Museum of Radio and TV in NY.

KRISTIAN SUMMERER

Principal, Creative Director

Kristian has re-branded some of the most iconic names in the area – Hatfield, University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Ringling Brothers, Sprout and The Franklin Institute, to name just a few. Equally agile in all media – from TV to outdoor, from online to direct mail – Kristian is fast and focused. Plus, he takes photos, makes posters and cooks, too. Oh, and he’s a no-BS-laid-back-no-drama guy to work with. Just ask the clients who simply cannot live without him.

TESS THAKURIA

Account Executive

Tess has over 10 years in the advertising and media industries. Her experience ranges from account management and sales support to media planning and buying for national clients. Tess’ ability to manage multiple projects for clients makes us think she may have octopus arms. When she’s not liaising with the creative team and our clients, she can be found banging on her drums, playing with her Boston Terrier named Jenkins or traveling to new places.

COREY DANKS

Senior Graphic Designer

We picked Corey up right out of school. He wrote us a letter saying that he loved our work and that he’d do whatever it takes to be part of the Machinery team. Flattery got him in the door — his talent, drive and work ethic earned him his own keys. We’re having a hard time these days remembering how we ever managed without him.

LAUREEN WONG

Graphic Designer

Started as the intern, now she’s here. After freelancing for Machinery while still in school, Laureen joined the team full-time and we’ve been keeping her busy ever since. She has a passion for hand lettering, making our clients happy and humming along to whatever’s playing in her headphones.

PAUL MILLER

Director of Accounts

Paul has over 25 years in managing print, broadcast, interactive, public relations and event marketing projects. He has provided strategic planning and direction for clients ranging from the largest healthcare systems in the region — to local retailers — to the area’s leading destinations. If all this sounds serious, don’t fret. He also is a Twitter addict and pop culture and sports fanatic.
